19th century oak baker’s rack from France. This is a lovely form with a small backsplash following down to a simple apron which contains a single drawer. There are two shelves with galleries around each side and lovely hand carved baluster-type fronts that are higher to enable one to keep items from sliding off the front of the shelf. The skirt is hand scalloped and the feet are cabriole, decorated with scrolls in the front and simple feet in the back for easy placement against a wall. Lovely form and patina. The serving height is 44.63 inches high.
