Vintage Design
The stool having hand carved Chippendale style legs, with shells on the knees, terminating to a claw and ball foot. The warm tan leather is original and shows distressed use. All complete, but with surface openings to the top. The webbing is all intact, with traditional horsehair inners.
The oak frame appears to be constructed from earlier timbers, which is a nice touch. The mahogany legs have been cleaned and waxed and are in very good condition, showing some light marks. The leather has been treated with a natural balsam. The stool is very sturdy with no loose joints.
