Vintage Design
Exclusive large sideboard designed by Pieter De Bruyne for V-Form. Around 1961 Oswald Vermaercke and V-Form attracted a couple of bigger names like Emiel Veranneman and Pieter De Bruyne to design furniture for the company. This sideboard is part of the ‘Europ’ series which De Bruyne designed and was part of a complete dining room ensemble as documented in the V-Form book. It’s made of Indian Rosewood and has beautiful metal details. This example is in excellent restored condition. It seems to me that the ‘Europ’ series is produced in very low numbers only because they are rarely offered.
