18th Century Country French Stripped Oak Buffet ~ Enfilade is a very well preserved example of fine French craftsmanship, using superior old-growth woods that produce unparalleled longevity in fine furnishings. Hand-selected oak planks and panels were meticulously joined to create the framework, with a generous beveled plank top and visually appealing undulating apron that appears all across the front and even the sides. Fluted cornerposts are finished with a scrolled leg with foliate flourish and escargot foot. Three generous drawers and ample cabinets provide storage that would normally require a larger piece. Fine molded detail on the drawers and simply carved raised panels in molded framed for cabinet doors provide interesting appeal. Brass key guards, barrel hinges and drawer knobs complete the look. Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
