Unique 19th century country English library bookcase or cabinet crafted from fruitwood. The tall two-part case has a six shelf bookcase on the top featuring glazed doors. The bookcase is topped with a cornice molding. The bottom case is fronted by four drawers with the top two having narrow pull outs for large drafting paper style storage. The drawers are secured by narrow swinging doors that flank each side of the drawers. The case has an aged, distressed patina and warm honey toned finish.
