A Roman-classical style decorative bowl, cast in bronze, brown patinated finish. This antique coupe is signed by Ferdinand Barbedienne (France, 1810-1892). In the center a depiction of horse riders from the classical Roman era. The bottom is also richly decorated and features fine scrolls and heads of the god Bacchus.
