Now and then something fantastic comes available to acquire. Here is a pair of marble (yes marble) angel statues salvaged from an old church in New Jersey. These were mounted 90 ft high over the entrance on the front of the building. They are carved from a single block, showing wear and patina reflecting there period and exposure.. The church was built in 1911.

It is most likely that these were carved in Europe and shipped over by the diocese.
