Vintage Design
French double-body sideboard made of exotic fine woods with grafts of finely chiseled gilt bronze elements. The front features a richly inlaid two-door top with central bird and side flowers and ends upward with an ebonized wood shelled frame. Internally there is an adjustable shelf via a ladder system. The underside is highlighted by a handsome bronze-covered under-top band that incorporates three drawers. The eight obelisk feet are connected by a mixtilinear cross and end with gilt bronze socks. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: early 20th century France. Measurements: 125×40 H190cm.
