An mid 18th century oak tilt top tripod table with a great patina
This table consists of a solid oak circular top which can either be tilted or secured down.
This leads down to a finely turned tapering baluster column with ring turned collar on the top, in the middle and below.
The table is supported by three slender shaped cabriole legs with concave caps or lappets to the top of the legs, this design found on earlier models.
The tripod base has been reinforced with an iron spider
