Vintage Midcentury Modern Italian Design Plywood Side Chairs attributed to Carlo Ratti for Legni Curvati. Made in Italy, 1950’s period. Set of 3 chairs. Plywood veneer chairs in a pallisander look with black mat lacquered metal base on round movable feet. These have been slightly refinished on the wood veneer. The plywood seats are in good condition, but the bendwood has lost it’s tension for about 50%. They are now very flexible and missing sturdiness for everyday use. Useable as sidechairs as they have a great design and look. One chair has a small break in one of its front legs, does not affect its sturdyness for sitting on it. Each chair measures 88cm x 39cm x 50cm.
