Vintage Design
The 3207 chair is an icon of modern furniture history and was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955. Its unique shape is timeless and incredibly versatile, showing character without overwhelming the eye. The chair is made from molded plywood to ensure strength, flexibility and durability despite its slim shape. It was presented at the H55 international design exhibition in Sweden in 1955 and was Arne Jacobsen’s response to criticism of the Ant chair. The 3207 was a stunning response, with perfectly proportioned armrests that follow the contours of the curved backrest while extending the soft lines of the rear legs, thus creating a perfectly balanced and extremely comfortable design.
Slight traces of wear. Well cared for by the former Owner, we offer these 8 Scandinavian classics here. Slightly revised and cleaned in the cloth, the 8 stacking chairs are once again at their best. All 8 chairs have the appropriate plastic plate above the connecting element to the base frame. Here we offer the much more comfy version with thin upholstery all Original in Kvadrat woolen Hallingdal cloth.
