Fantastic set of 4 dining chairs, model S42, designed by the artist, architect and designer Edoardo Landi in the 1970s for Studio D Italy.
These chairs are part of the Fuoco Series, consisting of chairs, tables and cabinets. All produced in very small numbers and therefore ultra rare.
The chairs are made of solid pine wood and have a black stained finish, which gives them the appearance of being burned.
Very well crafted with a brutalist and at the same time minimalist look.
Exceptional chairs.
The chairs are in very good original condition. They have a beautiful patina, one a bit more than the other. No damages. The backside of one chair is a bit more straight than the others, as they are all handmade this has probably already happened during production. The chairs are all sturdy.
