Vintage Design
A rare early Modernist rope and wood chair from The Netherlands. This Dutch piece dates from around 1930 and is evocative of the work of Bas Van Pelt. Features a twisted woven rope cord seat, gridded back rest and peg joints. The wooden frame is hand carved with circular designs in a Folk Art style.

Patina consistent with age and use, Very good vintage condition with some minor signs of age and use. All the weaving is strong and usable, as is the frame.
