This useful five board shelf unit was designed to hold pots and pans, buckets, and other large vessels both empty and full. It needed sturdy construction so the top and bottom shelves are tenoned all the way through the sides and the middle shelf is half-mortised in. With the additional support of triangular braces at the rear of the top shelf it can take a lot of weight while standing quite delicately on its shaped feet with the sides tapering into an ogee. In beautifully naturally worn old green paint.
