Vintage Design
The stool is covered in William Morris & Co pattern Despite the fact that the Pimpinell pattern has been around for many years and still feels crisp and newly made! As a contrast, the lid is also covered in velvet in a soft pink tone.
The cover has new cold foam and the entire stool is also lined with wadding under the furniture fabric. It minimizes the risk of chafing in the fabric and the stool becomes softer to touch. The lid has hinges that ensure it is attached to the lower part of the stool, nothing that sits on the slat or rolls on the floor. It folds up easily and there is storage underneath.
Under the lid there is also an insert for storing small items.
The stool is perfect as extra seating in the hall but also in the TV room for storing remote controls and other small items that otherwise end up on the coffee table. Also perfect for storing crafts, jewelry and of course traditional sewing accessories.
The sewing pallet is reupholstered and the fabric has a black base with a well-known and loved pattern in fine colours.
Overall, the sewing stool is in very good condition with new furniture fabric and new padding.
