Vintage Design
Beautiful, rare chaise lounge “Soloform 5008” by Hans Hartl for Eugen Schmidt, Darmstadt 1953. The lying surface was professionally reupholstered and rests on a chrome-plated tubular steel frame. Due to its organic, asymmetrical shape and the chosen use of materials, the lounger can typically be assigned to the West German design trends of the early 1950s and the post-war period.
In addition to the unique design, the lounger offers a high level of comfort and definitely lives up to the Eugen Schmidt company’s motto, “If you sit well, you’re in a good mood.” Very good restored condition.
