A stunning antique French leather top bureau plat desk, made in France and dating from around the 1930’s.
This is of outstanding quality, with beautifully cast ormolu mounts throughout. The wood is walnut, which has a gorgeous colour tone and grain patterns. There are three drawers on the front with three locking keys, the back is finished identically with three dummy drawers. There is a lovely faded black inset leather top.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent throughout.
