19th Century Unusual Long Cricket Stool, a very early 19th Century or possibly late 18th Century cricket foot stool in original grey paint. This is in an extremely unusual long size, four and a quarter feet long, to be placed in front of a settle bench or settee and shared by two people. It is long enough to have been used as a church kneeler. Today it would work very well as a pot stand or plant stand, or as a table top plateau to display other objects.
The stool remains in very good, solid condition, and the paint remains strong and bright and has developed a lovely worn patina.
