This chair was exhibited 1959 as “Modell 5659″ in Germany at the Cologne Furniture Exhibition, this design has made it to the ”Stiftung Deutsches Design Museum c/o Rat für Formgebung”, Frankfurt (Main).
Designed by Ernst Martin Dettinger and produced in Frankfurt by Lucas Schnaidt Möbelmanufaktur.
Fantastic streamline design with a narrow backrest, upholstered with a juicy deep turquoise / deep blueish teal velvet.
Copper rivets make the design even more elegant and unusual.
The wooden elements seem to be from alder.
