Wonderful pair of English brass standing lanterns, circa 1920.
These lanterns have a tapered glazed body with an opening door and a finely pierced chimney. These chimneys are topped with a cast brass flame.
The glass panels are smoked so that they are able to generate a warm light.
They are sat on heavily weighted brass lamp-post bases with cast brass lion paw feet. These lanterns bring a great ambience to any room because of their height and warm colouring.
Both are in great and original condition.
